We finally did it—our very first family trip to the zoo, and it was EVERYTHING we hoped for and more!
From the second we walked through the gates, it was smiles all around. The kids were wide-eyed with excitement (and a little confusion—especially when the flamingos made noise 😆). We strolled past lions, waved at the monkeys, and tried to spot every animal in the reptile house without jumping at the snakes!
The giraffes stole the show—towering above everyone, calmly munching leaves like royalty. We even caught a tiger napping in the shade, looking majestic and lazy at the same time. But the biggest hit? Feeding the goats at the petting zoo! Let’s just say someone (you know who you are) screamed when they got nibbled. 😂
Of course, no zoo trip is complete without snacks, silly pictures, and chasing after toddlers who suddenly think they can outrun a zebra. Between the animal encounters and belly laughs, this trip gave us memories we’ll never forget.
Sometimes, the best adventures are the simple ones—and this was pure joy from start to finish.
