Welcome to Week 2 of our wild Maine adventure—where salt meets freshwater and the catches just keep getting better!
We kicked things off on the coast, hauling in traps the old-school way. The boat rocked as we pulled up cage after cage, and the lobsters? Big, snappy, and full of fight. There’s something timeless about this kind of work—hands on the rope, sea air in your lungs, and the smell of the Atlantic all around you.
Then we switched gears and headed inland to crystal-clear brooks winding through Maine’s rugged backcountry. Armed with light gear and a quiet step, we hit the water in search of wild brook trout. The reward? Vibrant fish with electric colors, caught under a canopy of pines in total peace.
We ended each day by the fire—lobster tails over coals, brook trout pan-fried right on the rocks. Catch, clean, cook. No frills, no waste—just honest living off the land and sea.
Whether it’s the salt spray from the ocean or the silence of the forest stream, Week 2 reminded us why Maine is a sportsman’s dream.
